Blackberry Herbalist’s Purse

This wool/rayon felt shoulder tote bag is hand appliqued and embroidered with blackberries using merino wool. It is lined with soft green cotton and has one inner pocket. The strap is adjustable using two handcrafted deer antler buttons. Blackberries fed our ancestors, the stalks were woven into baskets, the leaves and berries used as medicine. Today it is used in spells for prosperity, growth and protection.

Use to collect herbs and specimens during your forest adventures, to bring ritual supplies to the wild for a rite, or to act as a carrying bag for a small frame drum.
